This week we welcomed Kate from Harbour Hospice to our meeting to pledge a $3000 donation to the redevelopment project at Harbour Hospice North Shore.
Kate gave us an update of the redevelopment progress. It was pleasing to hear that Harbour Hospice has now raised over 80 per cent of their fundraising target and that the redevelopment is well underway with the roof and guttering on the Inpatient Unit being completed and the first nine bedrooms are fully wired for electricity. Several windows have been fitted around the entire site, and fireproofing is well underway.
